Description: | I am using Asterisk 1.6.1.4 with FreePBX 2.6. However I have seen this same issue when testing Asterisk 1.6.2.2. When calling a user with multiple devices, a ring group, etc I get the following warning for every SIP device that is not registered. WARNING[5287] app_dial.c: Unable to create channel of type 'SIP' (cause 20 - Unknown) If the device is not registered why fill the logs with this message? Or at least make the message say that the device is not registered. I have a softphone SIP device for every user and a main line ring group that includes all the users. When the main line rings my log fills with a hundred of these messages. When a user is called that doesn't have the softphone open I get this message as well. | ||
Comments: | By: Leif Madsen (lmadsen) 2010-02-17 14:37:48.000-0600 The message is accurate. If you don't want to see those WARNING messages, then don't call devices that are not available. |
