After testing issue ASTERISK-18663 which had deadlocks when using SIP BLF/Presence it has introduced another issue which appears to be related.

Within 24 hours of rolling out Asterisk 1.8.8-rc3 asterisk has crashed twice. I've uploaded back traces to issue ASTERISK-18663 to hopefully identify the issue.

Okay, the commit for the problem Ross Beer is talking about is r345063 in 1.8.

So far just fixes for ASTERISK-18862 need to be merged into Asterisk 1.8.8.0-rc5 (or 1.8.8.0). All other changes have been merged in as of Asterisk 1.8.8.0-rc4.

The fix to r345063 does not resolve the crahsing issue in ASTERISK-18663.

The crash only occurs when presence is enabled.
