Hi Mark!
I have read all the page with instuction, but is not clear where should I put the audio files! :-(

By: Mark Petersen (roadkill) 2012-04-30 05:52:42.749-0500

I believe you need to make a tar file with all the files and put them on a public server and post a link here
as you can't summit files larger than 10MB

By: Matt Jordan (mjordan) 2012-05-08 07:56:34.890-0500

Carlo:

Mark is correct.  Please follow the guidelines at https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Asterisk+Soundfiles+Submission+Process# for submitting sound files.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at mjordan@digium.com.

Thanks,

Matt

Hi Matt and Mark!
The .tar file is ready.
You can download the file here:
http://www.segreterietelefoniche.it/Download/asterisk-core-sounds-it-wav_44,1Khz-current.tar

Licence was signed and sent to the fax number +1 2564286217
Job was hard, but I'm happy to do it!
Please let me know if the job is good and when you'll public my prompts in Digium website. :-) Thank you!

Hi
I have been looking at your tar file and can't find all the subdirectories

phonetic

digits
dictate

also all the confbridge* files are missing

By: carlo flora (floradio) 2012-06-04 15:17:28.902-0500

Hi Mark!
Thank you for your answer and for your help.
I found the file "vm-onefor-pieno-full" you was talking about.
It was a "ghost file". :-)
(an error).
Sorry. I have erase the file from the set.

About missing subdirectories...sorry, that was a problem about my incompetent to use that kind of compression file (tar)!
Can I make available the set in a zip file? This could be very very easy for me.
Here it is: www.carloflora.com/Download/asterisk-core-sounds-it-wav_44,1Khz-current.zip

Upload in progress.
Give me 20 minutes from now, then download it.
Inside the zip you'll find all directoris and subdirectories.

Let me know. Thank you!

Hi Mark!
How are you?
I haven't read your answers anymore!
My last answer was in 04/jun.
Did you download my last corrected version?
What can you tell me about?
Do you public my audio?

By: Matt Jordan (mjordan) 2012-08-29 12:58:27.845-0500

Yikes!  Sorry about that carlo.

The .zip file should be just fine - I'll get this moving along.

Ops! Sorry Marc, my english is not so good! What does it mean your phrase? :-(

By: Matt Jordan (mjordan) 2012-08-30 08:07:24.520-0500

It means that your issue is in the queue to be worked.

Carlo,

1. According to: https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Asterisk+Soundfiles+Submission+Process "Soundfiles must be in ".wav" 48kHz 16-bit signed linear format - Digium will do all conversions to various codecs."

The files you have provided previously were in 44.1kHz. Can you provide the files in 48kHz?

2. Can you fax the license again to 1-256-428-6217 and 1-256-428-6200 ?  We never received the fax (or else it got lost).  Sorry about that.

Thanks again

Hi Rusty!
I'm sorry for my mistake.
I'm recording again all sound prompts in 48Khz like Digium ask.
Then I'll send you again with the licence to.

It is not clear for my what do you mean in your last comment of 27/11/12 (10.02 AM) edited.
Can you better explain?
Thank you.

Carlo.

By: Rusty Newton (rnewton) 2012-12-05 08:32:29.995-0600

Carlo. I've removed the comment at "27/11/12 (10.02 AM) edited" that was a mistake. We don't need that particular new prompt in core.

We'll continue waiting on the core prompts in 48Khz and the license. Thanks again for providing these translations.

By: Rusty Newton (rnewton) 2013-01-04 14:11:37.148-0600

Carlo - I had sent you an E-mail or two outside of JIRA.  We still haven't received your core prompt set in raw 48Khz wav.

By: Rusty Newton (rnewton) 2013-01-08 09:19:01.990-0600

Carlo says that next week they'll have the whole set in 48KHz

We have the new set of Italian sounds. I'm working with Carlo to resolve some questions about them. We should be making a new sounds release with these included very soon.

By: Rusty Newton (rnewton) 2013-04-29 18:04:22.077-0500

The Italian prompts are on SVN trunk of sounds, have been built for release and are in the process of being uploaded to the download site.

The Italian prompts are included in core sounds release 1.4.24 and should be available by tonight.

1.4.24 is now available at http://downloads.asterisk.org/pub/telephony/sounds/releases/
