Description: | I'm new to asterisk, and when I run the command "core show application dial", I couldn't know if the "timeout" parameter is measured in seconds or miliseconds. I think that information should be added, to be clear for users. | ||

By: Paul Belanger (pabelanger) 2012-08-30 12:47:30.139-0500 Am I looking at the wrong setting? timeout Specifies the number of seconds we attempt to dial the specified devices If not specified, this defaults to 136 years. By: Richard Mudgett (rmudgett) 2012-08-30 13:52:52.078-0500 The reporter did not specify which Asterisk version and it appears to be a version that is no longer supported. v1.6.2 and later does specify the units for the timeout parameter. v1.4, v1.6.0, and v1.6.1 did not specify. By: Matt Jordan (mjordan) 2012-09-25 09:23:14.395-0500 Not a problem in supported releases. |
