Description: | Upgraded to version 11 and all worked well. Made a change to sip.conf and then performed a sip reload. Was then unable to make any outbound calls. sip show registry was completely blank and only way to re-populate with the upstream SIP peers was by performing a complete stop and restart of Asterisk. Ran a tcpdump in-front of the Asterisk server and then performed another sip reload and the only packets which went to the upstream peer were OPTIONS. | ||||
Comments: | By: Joshua C. Colp (jcolp) 2012-10-31 06:52:03.512-0500 Thanks for taking the time to do some debugging and report this issue. It was already reported as ASTERISK-20611 already, and a patch exists there. If you'd like to test to confirm it fixes the issue that would be useful. By: SplatNIX (uxbod) 2012-10-31 08:26:14.290-0500 Is the patch I should try from https://issues.asterisk.org/jira/browse/ASTERISK-16508 as that appears to suggest it was committed to trunk which is what 11.0 was formed from wasn't it ? By: Joshua C. Colp (jcolp) 2012-10-31 08:28:07.072-0500 The patch is from ASTERISK-20611 - which I mentioned in my comment and is linked in this issue. ^_^ Follow the reviewboard link on there and it shall appear. By: SplatNIX (uxbod) 2012-10-31 08:40:00.348-0500 Thanks Joshua. Applied the patch and registrations now survive across a sip reload :) By: Joshua C. Colp (jcolp) 2012-10-31 08:41:12.464-0500 You are welcome! And sorry for the inconvenience. |
