Description: | SIP invites received after the initial invite from an outboundproxy reply to the destination host instead of the proxy. Call initiation direction has no bearing on the issue. The Contact URI in the invite contains the address of the proxy, the From contains the host information.
The workaround is to use the force option in the outboundproxy designation in the sip trunk configuration. e.g. outboundproxy=xx.yy.zz,force | ||||||
Comments: | By: David Broussard (davidb66) 2013-10-05 16:53:58.352-0500 This is a capture denoting a reply to the incorrect invite occurring. Packet 10 is the invite, packets 11-14 are the attempted replies to the incorrect host. The attempts are repeated several times before the call is dropped By: Rusty Newton (rnewton) 2013-10-17 19:20:34.164-0500 Thanks for the report and the pcap. Looks like a bug.., but can you also provide an Asterisk full log showing the same traffic? We want to see the [VERBOSE and DEBUG messages|https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Collecting+Debug+Information] relevant to that particular calling scenario. Thanks in advance! By: Rusty Newton (rnewton) 2013-11-20 09:44:29.210-0600 attaching outbound_proxy6.diff (patch from https://reviewboard.asterisk.org/r/2851/) Please test with this patch and report back.
