Description: | Asterisk is crashing every time multi party conference is done. I am using Asterisk AsyncAGI interface and Asterisk Manager interface to control call and media. When multiple parties are added in conference, asterisk crash when either party disconnects the call.
We have tried same with 1.8.20 RPM as well. Every time it crashed. We have captured backtrace and it is attached with this issue. | ||
Comments: | By: Amit Patkar (amit@avhan.com) 2013-11-27 11:10:34.079-0600 Asterisk Full trace and backtrace is attached. By: Matt Jordan (mjordan) 2013-11-27 13:31:15.822-0600 You are using ConfBridge in Asterisk 1.8. ConfBridge is an extended support module in that version, and is not recommended. In Asterisk 1.8, you should use MeetMe for conferencing. In later versions of Asterisk (Asterisk 10+), ConfBridge *is* the preferred conferencing module. It was extensively re-worked in that version, and is essentially a completely different application. The issue you are running into has already been fixed in these versions, and - as this was a complete overhaul of the application - will not be backported to Asterisk 1.8. By: Amit Patkar (amit@avhan.com) 2013-11-27 20:48:06.450-0600 We have tried meetme as well. Crash is experienced with meetme also. Will capture back trace with meet me and upload it. |
