Description:The asterisk process freezes very often during the day. The machine itself keeps running ok, ssh connection stays up, ping, etc. It is only the sip processing the one that stops responding. When this happens I can see a lot of SIP packets waiting to be processed (netstat -anp |grep 5060).  I have changed the asterisk version from 1.9 back to 1.8.24, then updated to 11.6 but the problem is still there.

This is the core file I was able to retrieve in one of the occasions where the problem happened.

We can't do anything with the core file. Please read through the Asterisk Issue Guidelines here:

https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Asterisk+Issue+Guidelines

As well as the guide on collecting a backtrace:

https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Getting+a+Backtrace

Specifically the section https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Getting+a+Backtrace#GettingaBacktrace-GettingInformationForADeadlock as well, including the instructions on how to get "core show locks" output.

Please follow those instructions and attach the necessary information here.

Please attach the backtrace output in .txt format.
