gdb logs attached

Can you attach your full {{rtp.conf}}?

In addition, it would be helpful to have a pcap of the messages that occurred when the crash happened. Can you attach a pcap illustrating the received packets?

rtp.conf attached.

Matt,

will it be good to log packets in production system? Just want your opinion, because I have never logged packets in production system. Will it add overhead on system?

Capturing packets with tcpdump will cause some extra load. You would have to Google around to see if you can quantify that for your scenario.

Exactly, I'm afraid I won't be able to do that on production machine.

@Matt, is it possible to go without packet capturing?

By: Rusty Newton (rnewton) 2014-01-07 13:31:28.609-0600

Linking to other recent ICE crashes, as there are several open.

There is a good chance that this was resolved by r409129/409130. If you could test again with either the 11.8.0-rc2 candidate or the latest from the 11 branch, that'd be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Matt,

Thank you for the update. I think I'll wait to get 11.8 final version out before trying the RC on production server. I'm not able to replicate the same issue in test environment and hence won't be able to update you that whether it works fine or not. Though I think I'll see if I could switch the production environment to RC for couple of hours or so.

Thanks again.

Chetan, were you able to test with the [Asterisk 11.8.1|http://downloads.asterisk.org/pub/telephony/asterisk/asterisk-11.8.1.tar.gz] release version?

By: Chetan Goti (chetangoti) 2014-03-25 09:43:15.908-0500

It is planned to configure during this weekend, I'll update thread possibly on Sunday.

Chetan, I didn't see an update from you. If I don't see a further update, I'll assume this issue is fixed and close the issue out. Thanks!

Rusty, I switched the version 11.8.1 in production yesterday and so far, no crash due to this issue.

By: Rusty Newton (rnewton) 2014-04-14 10:23:06.955-0500

Okay, since it took a few days for it to crash originally, I'll close this out if I don't hear from you again in a week. Thanks.
