Description:When moving over to realtime in Asterisk 11.6, and trying to use WebRTC (SipML5), we have noticed that if “rtcachefriends” is set to “no”, it is impossible to call a WebRTC client, due to Asterisk not recognizing this client as registered. However, the softphones are reachable with the same setting in place.
If, however, “rtcachefriends” is set to “yes”, it is impossible to dynamically change SIP settings, as they are being cached, thus killing the whole realtime idea.

Can you post an Asterisk debug log showing your attempted outbound call to a WebRTC client with "rtcachefriends=no" set?

Make sure to follow https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Collecting+Debug+Information

Make sure you see DEBUG messages in the log file.
