Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Asterisk better. Unfortunately, we cannot work on this bug because your description did not include enough information. You may find it helpful to read the Asterisk Issue Guidelines http://www.asterisk.org/developers/bug-guidelines. We would be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem. At a minimum, we need:

1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem,
2. the behavior you expected, and
3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).

This likely includes output from the console with debug level logging, a SIP trace (if this is SIP related), and configuration information such as dialplan (e.g. extensions.conf) and channel configuration (e.g. sip.conf). Thanks!

In addition to the previous comment, please make sure you attach example configuration for your SIP peers and explain the scenario in which this WARNING occurs and what the problem associated with it is.

I'm really not sure..

Can you come up with a simple way to reproduce this with one phone?

bq. some softphones (NOT ALL) failed to REGISTER (SIP INVITE) in asterisk server 11.8

For the phones that fail to register; do they always fail to register? Or do they fail to register once a day and then register fine afterward?

Did you only start getting this message after an upgrade?

I'm going to close this out, since we don't have a way to easily reproduce, and it appears somewhat randomly.

If you are able to reproduce and can provide on a guide on how to do so, (what phone, what configuration, what procedure, etc) then please ask a bug marshal at irc.freenode.net #asterisk-bugs to re-open your issue.
