Description: | Let's make it easier for new users to find out what audio and video formats and codecs are supported.
We have this page: https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Codec+Modules which documents available codec modules. This page: https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/File+Format+Drivers needs to be updated and more technical detail for each format supported. Additionally what formats are pass-through only? e.g. Opus support. Both the above mentioned pages could use notes on which codecs or formats were added in what Asterisk version. If a user is googling for Asterisk codec support, they are likely to find http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+codecs which isn't exactly up to date either. We may want a "Asterisk Audio and Video Capabilities" page to tie it all together and link to the various subsections on codec modules, format modules, pass-through support, etc. | ||
