Description:The script contrib/scripts/install_prereq require a command aptitude in a Debian system. If dont have aptitude installed the script do nothing and not show alerts or any message.

In a fresh install of Debian 8 (jessy) aptitude is not installed when use  without "standard system utilities".

Patches accepted!

If you are not using "standard system utilties" then you are now using a non-standard system and I think that would be a minority of users. In that case, if you want the script to work with non-standard systems then you should submit a patch to make it do just that.
