Comments: | By: Asterisk Team (asteriskteam) 2015-07-01 05:39:57.042-0500 Thanks for creating a report! The issue has entered the triage process. That means the issue will wait in this status until a Bug Marshal has an opportunity to review the issue. Once the issue has been reviewed you will receive comments regarding the next steps towards resolution. A good first step is for you to review the [Asterisk Issue Guidelines|https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Asterisk+Issue+Guidelines] if you haven't already. The guidelines detail what is expected from an Asterisk issue report. Then, if you are submitting a patch, please review the [Patch Contribution Process|https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Patch+Contribution+Process]. By: Joshua C. Colp (jcolp) 2015-07-01 07:39:06.100-0500 Are you planning to attach a patch to implement this functionality, or are you requesting something be added? By: Joshua C. Colp (jcolp) 2015-07-01 07:40:01.244-0500 Ah, I see you've attached patches but they have not yet shown up due to licensing. As well - new features aren't accepted for 11. This would be eligible for master, and potentially 13. By: MS (ims77) 2015-07-01 07:54:37.281-0500 Ok, I have patched Asterisk 11 for my needs but I think it could be interesting for everybody to get this patch. I don't work with master or 13, could someone transpose my patch? By: Joshua C. Colp (jcolp) 2015-07-01 07:58:42.291-0500 Someone may but there is no guarantee or any time frame on when that will occur. By: Rusty Newton (rnewton) 2015-07-01 13:52:42.836-0500 After your license is accepted, please re-attach your patch so that it will be visible. By: Rusty Newton (rnewton) 2015-07-06 18:33:39.404-0500 Thanks. I see the new attachments. I went ahead and removed the old, unlicensed attachments that were not visible to viewers of the issue. I've opened this issue since you provided a patch. However, note that chan_sip is under extended support in 13 and future versions. The core team is not putting new feature development effort into chan_sip (that focus is on chan_pjsip/res_pjsip), so if you want this to get into Asterisk then you'll want to make a patch for 13 or Master and push it through the peer review process. That , or wait for another community member to take up the issue for you. Thanks! |
