Description:When (at least a trailing) space is in a database value, asterisk doesn't tell any error, but doesn't work as expected. In my environment -switching a machine from 1.4 to 11- i changed the value for "nat" from "yes" wrongly to "force_rport,comedia " (copy n past error). After that we had one way audio.
Would be nice to "trail" the values!

Thanks for creating a report! The issue has entered the triage process. That means the issue will wait in this status until a Bug Marshal has an opportunity to review the issue. Once the issue has been reviewed you will receive comments regarding the next steps towards resolution.

A good first step is for you to review the [Asterisk Issue Guidelines|https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Asterisk+Issue+Guidelines] if you haven't already. The guidelines detail what is expected from an Asterisk issue report.

Then, if you are submitting a patch, please review the [Patch Contribution Process|https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Patch+Contribution+Process].

This sounds like a feature request. We don't track feature requests on the issue tracker unless a patch is contributed.

You can read the issue tracker guidelines here: https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Asterisk+Issue+Guidelines

You don't mention what type of database connectivity or modules you are using.. what module are you using (res_odbc?) and what backend?

When the configuration value is read with a trailing space does Asterisk treat the option as undefined?
