Description:We have Asterisk c.3.7.2
asterisk GUI 2.0.6.3
OS: Linux 2.6.18-194.e15

We installed and made 5 digits local extensions working fine..

Then made a E1 trunk with Nortel PBX , the link is up and working fine both ways..

Now, we are facing issues with Outboud Caller ID from Asterisk to Nortel..

We are unable to send 5 Digits caller id to Nortel, its shows the default nortel number.

but when we send 7 digits, its working fine and can have redail from nortel.

So, we need to change this default 7 digits to 5 digits for all outgoing calls from Asterisk...

If you can support remotely on this, kindly let us know..
