Description:I've been running Asterisk 13.6 PJSIP realtime in a production environment for about a year without crashes or whatsoever. Out of a sudden after over 550,000 calls I get a coredump. I'd really like to know what happened.
Could someone examine my coredump file to see if the issue is known.

Could it be something related to t38? A fax was sent just before it crashed and I can see T38 in the backtrace.

Thanks for creating a report! The issue has entered the triage process. That means the issue will wait in this status until a Bug Marshal has an opportunity to review the issue. Once the issue has been reviewed you will receive comments regarding the next steps towards resolution.

A good first step is for you to review the [Asterisk Issue Guidelines|https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Asterisk+Issue+Guidelines] if you haven't already. The guidelines detail what is expected from an Asterisk issue report.

Then, if you are submitting a patch, please review the [Patch Contribution Process|https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Patch+Contribution+Process].

Coredump backtrace asterisk 13.6

By: Carl Fortin (phonefxg) 2016-09-23 10:33:11.461-0500

Part of my log before the crashes, a fax is sent.
Unfortunately that is all the detail I have.

[~gjoseph] and [~rmudgett] helped look over the trace.

The root cause isn't clear with the current data you have provided. We didn't find anything similar in the tracker.

There have been a few fax issues fixed since 13.6 as well as numerous other issues, including security issues. I advise upgrading if possible, or at least reviewing the security releases to verify you are not vulnerable.

Other than that - I'll go ahead and close this out presuming you have no further data. Since you only had this crash once, it isn't likely that it will happen again. The odds of getting further data are slim.

Feel free to open a new issue if the crash happens again or if you are able to get further data. Be sure to review the wiki section [on getting a backtrace|https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Getting+a+Backtrace] to be aware of what we usually want. Thanks!
