Description: | It would be great to have a warning if 2 identify with the same IP address for two different endpoint exists in pjsip.conf
I had this problem not too long ago and it would save alot of time to others that could make the same mistake.. The incoming calls stopped working after I've found a second identity that was left out in the pjsip.conf file pointing to another endpoint with the same ip address. A warning after reloading the module. https://community.asterisk.org/t/match-against-multiple-ip-address-in-pjsip/68139/23 | ||

Colp (jcolp) 2016-09-26 19:16:07.930-0500 What was the actual configuration in use for this? By: Carl Fortin (phonefxg) 2016-09-27 05:31:57.731-0500 Here's my pjsip.conf file, look at line 92 and 123. It is the same IP address. By: Joshua C. Colp (jcolp) 2016-09-27 14:36:13.080-0500 After looking at the configuration and exploring what is possible I don't think this is actually possible to reliably do, except for very narrow circumstances and it would be quite intensive (and require reload). Originally I thought you had the same identify section (with the same name) specified twice - which should result in an error and was concerned it was not. By: Carl Fortin (phonefxg) 2016-09-27 15:14:52.391-0500 Too bad. It could be a note in the wiki, saying that only one IP is allowed in the pjsip, conf for matching by source IP.
