Description:I don't know if 13.8.2 is the correct version, I'm using certified 13.8-rc3

After a clean installation and generating the basic-pbx sample, modules.conf try to load pbx_functions.so module, but it's not in the modules folder, throwing this error

loader.c: Error loading module 'pbx_functions.so': /usr/lib/asterisk/modules/pbx_functions.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

   configs/basic-pbx/modules.conf: Remove 'bad' modules

   This patch removes the following modules:
    - pbx_functions: It never existed.
    - res_pjsip_log_forwarder: It no longer exists.
    - res_hep_pjsip: The base HEP module wasn't loaded, and most basic PBXs
                     aren't going to be installing HOMER
    - res_pjsip_phoneprov_provider: The basic res_phoneprov module isn't
                     loaded, and we aren't configured to make use of the
                     module

Asterisk Certified only receives fixes as a result of issues reported by Digium customers who have a suitable agreement for support on it. As a result this change did not go in there, which explains why you saw what you saw. It should be fixed in the next major release of certified though!
