Description: | Initially described in the following mailing list thread: http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-dev/2016-December/076030.html
This patch provides the ability for modules registering extensions (primarily intended for use with pbx modules) to provide filename and line number for extensions being registered. Extensions that are registered with this information (using new variants of ast_add_extension2/ast_add_extension2_lockopt appended with _with_lines) will have their format for 'dialplan show' commands modified to include the filename and line number where registrar normally is. For example: CLI> dialplan show default [ Context 'default' created by 'pbx_config' ] '100' => 1. NoOp() [pbx_config] Becomes: '100' => 1. NoOp() [extensions.conf:24] So far only pbx_config is setup to use this feature, but adding support for AEL (where I feel this sort of functionality is actually much more useful) is a priority of mine if this patch is accepted. If this patch is wanted, I'll be happy to take it through the review process. | ||
