Are you referring to the Asterisk package in Fedora? If so - that is not something we maintain/write. Asterisk itself has no hard dependency on any of the DAHDi stuff.

I am referring to the dahdi-tools package in Fedora, which is a dependency of asterisk-dahdi.
Sorry I had the wrong bug heading wording. Have corrected it now.

I would suggest taking this up directly with Fedora. Those packages are not something we maintain or have created.
