Description:Hi there;

2 linux boxes and Windows all report an error and the archive is not extractable.

Wget reports the size as follows:

2017-02-14 08:36:21 (7.29 MB/s) - ‘asterisk-14-current.tar.gz’ saved [40653605/40653605]

It starts un-tarring but then....

gzip: stdin: invalid compressed data--format violated
tar: Unexpected EOF in archive

The severity of this issue has been automatically downgraded from "Blocker" to "Major". The "Blocker" severity is reserved for issues which have been determined to block the next release of Asterisk. This severity can only be set by privileged users. If this issue is deemed to block the next release it will be updated accordingly during the triage process.

Same problem here. The checksum on http://downloads.asterisk.org/pub/telephony/asterisk/asterisk-14.3.0.md5 is 5899162ba07bfa96a17b212551cba73c but this is what my download gets: md5sum asterisk-14.3.0.tar.gz

Downloaded through curl and wget, no differences, same error. Not only asterisk-14.3.0.tar.gz but also asterisk-14-current.tar.gz - seems the tar file on the webserver is corrupt.

During configure it also gives me this error because of the corruption:
config.status: error: cannot find input file: `build_tools/menuselect-deps.in'

This problem has been resolved and the tarball is now correct.
