Description: | Asterisk is not always releasing RTP ports when a call completes. All phones/gateways are configured for directmedia/directrtp. Every day I see the number of RTP ports that does not release cointinue to climb by a few hundred a day. Doing a restart (not reload) of the server clears the ports. | ||

By: Rick (rjesse@ucalgary.ca) 2017-08-11 13:23:22.250-0500 I have posed the question on the asterisk forum with no luck https://community.asterisk.org/t/rtp-ports-not-closing-asterisk-11-23-0/70718/4 By: Malcolm Davenport (mdavenport) 2017-08-11 13:27:47.951-0500 Asterisk 11 is no longer receiving bug fixes. It has entered the phase of its life when it only receives security-related fixes. See - https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Asterisk+Versions Asterisk branches 13 and 14 are the only ones currently receiving bug fixes. You should attempt to reproduce your issue with the latest version of Asterisk 13 or 14 - 13.17.0 and 14.6.0 as of this comment. Additionally, bug-fix support against -cert branches of Asterisk is provided only for Digium's commercial customers who have engaged Digium for our L5 support offering - https://www.digium.com/products/asterisk/certified-asterisk By: Malcolm Davenport (mdavenport) 2017-08-11 13:29:48.063-0500 If you experience your issue against the latest version of a currently-supported branch, you may open a new issue report. |
