AlarmReceiver’s variable ALARMRECEIVER_RETRIES_LIMIT when set to “1”, as expected it does exit after one event is processed,but it fails to flush the event to the event-file.

I've opened and accepted this issue but AlarmReceiver is a community supported module. I do see you supplied a change that I had to remove, if you'd like to contribute that and see this fixed sooner you can follow the instructions on the wiki[1].
