Description: | Hi all:
I know that the performance improvement of the opus codec is difficult, but I still want to do some work. Is it possible to provide the source code of this module. Or support a cli command line, show how many encoders/decoders in console? e.g. "opus show status". Then, combined with the current CPU load, I can do some load balancing or other thing to reduce the current load | ||
Comments: | By: Asterisk Team (asteriskteam) 2018-03-28 03:47:55.052-0500 Thanks for creating a report! The issue has entered the triage process. That means the issue will wait in this status until a Bug Marshal has an opportunity to review the issue. Once the issue has been reviewed you will receive comments regarding the next steps towards resolution. A good first step is for you to review the [Asterisk Issue Guidelines|https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Asterisk+Issue+Guidelines] if you haven't already. The guidelines detail what is expected from an Asterisk issue report. Then, if you are submitting a patch, please review the [Patch Contribution Process|https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Patch+Contribution+Process]. By: Joshua C. Colp (jcolp) 2018-03-28 04:46:52.682-0500 The codec_opus module is closed source. The source code is not available. There is also no CLI command to do such a thing, and I have no timeframe on when it would be implemented if this issue is accepted. By: seanchann.zhou (seanchann) 2018-03-30 00:01:36.873-0500 @joshua thanks. By: Joshua C. Colp (jcolp) 2018-04-03 07:16:22.186-0500 We don't currently accept feature requests like this for codec_opus so I'm closing this out. |
