Description:This came up as part of a PBXact suport ticket. German language sound files in current Distro is missing files from the digits folder that are used in app-voicemail for channel language de_DE including:

digits/1F
digits/9-and

I note that the German language sound files available from asterisksounds.org includes the above as well as

digits/1-and
digits/1N

I don't know if the two sets of files are maintained separately or not, I'm not a German speaker.

Thanks for creating a report! The issue has entered the triage process. That means the issue will wait in this status until a Bug Marshal has an opportunity to review the issue. Once the issue has been reviewed you will receive comments regarding the next steps towards resolution.

A good first step is for you to review the [Asterisk Issue Guidelines|https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Asterisk+Issue+Guidelines] if you haven't already. The guidelines detail what is expected from an Asterisk issue report.

Then, if you are submitting a patch, please review the [Patch Contribution Process|https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Patch+Contribution+Process].

If you need expedient resolution you will need to find and pay a suitable developer. Asking for an update on your issue will not yield any progress on it and will not result in a response. All updates are posted to the issue when they occur.

Just to give you some feedback…regarding the German language pack.
if there is no voicemail, the voice says “Sie haben NEIN Nachrichten”, which is the direct translation from “you have no messages” …but this sounds very, very weird in German.
The correct sentence would be “Sie haben KEINE Nachrichten”.

When I downloaded and installed the language pack from https://www.asterisksounds.org/de/download all voice prompts so far I can tell, are correct.

I can’t understand, why PBXact is not able to implement German sounds, even the sound prompts are available from asterisksounds.

Ticket – support.sangoma.com #901180 should be re-opened.
