Description:I am using Asterisk-16 version, installed properly at AWS free account. when I use asterisk -r command to get CLI prompt then got "Unable to connect to remote asterisk (does /var/run/asterisk/asterisk.ctl exist?)" error. Checked the given location and found two file there that is asterisk.ctl and asterisk.pid.

I got a command at google to get ride over this issue that is asterisk -vvvc and It worked for me and got asterisk cli console.

Next day I started AWS server again and used asterisk -r to get asterisk cli console but got the same issue "Unable to connect to remote asterisk (does /var/run/asterisk/asterisk.ctl exist?)". checked the given location again but this time both file (asterisk.ctl and asterisk.pid) was not there. I tried again the command asterisk -vvvc but this time it does not work for me. I tried many command whatever I got at google but no luck.

Can someone help me to resolve this issue please? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for creating a report! The issue has entered the triage process. That means the issue will wait in this status until a Bug Marshal has an opportunity to review the issue. If you need expedient resolution you will need to find and pay a suitable developer. Asking for an update on your issue will not yield any progress on it and will not result in a response. All updates are posted to the issue when they occur.
